    NOT A REPRODUCTION.
    The box is made of wood with dove tail connections and the attached labels are all intact except if shown. Antique Wooden Mason's Blacking Advertising Box Americana Store Display Measures approx. 11.75" L x 9" W x 3" Condition: Good condition given its age. Lid is slightly bowed. Inside label very good.. Sticker on outside front has chips around the edges and a slight piece missing. Blacking is a preparation, containing lampblack, used to produce a shiny black coating to something like shoe polish during the 19th century.
